So a little context. The partners (Sterling, Cooper, Draper, Campbell and Harris) need more space so they take over a second floor right above their current floor.

This is just a striking image to me, with Joan in the middle helping the symmetry of the composition. Not really sure of the subtext, but it’s a pretty powerful image. Its balanced framing; the contrast between the characters and the world through the window. You know they’re pretty high in the building, able to look down as if perched atop a throne. It all screams out: strength.
